● Marketing - where applicable law requires consent for direct marketing, we will obtain the required consent before sending marketing communications. Where another lawful basis is permitted for a particular form of marketing, we may rely on that basis in accordance with applicable law. Individuals may withdraw consent or object to direct marketing at any time, subject to the provisions of applicable law.

8. International Data Transfers

Some of our service providers (for example, cloud hosting or payment processing platforms) may store or process personal data outside the UAE. Where we transfer personal data internationally, we do so in accordance with Articles 22 and 23 of the PDPL, which permit transfer where the destination country offers an adequate level of protection, or where appropriate safeguards are in place, such as standard contractual clauses, binding corporate rules, or your explicit consent. Because Go Yacht accepts enquiries and bookings from customers located both within and outside the UAE, personal data may be collected in one jurisdiction and processed or stored in another, including in the UAE. Personal data may also be processed by travel agencies, yacht brokers, booking platforms, payment providers, CRM providers, cloud-hosting providers, communications providers, and other service providers located in jurisdictions outside the UAE.

In the event of a personal data breach likely to result in a risk to your rights, we will notify the UAE Data Office and affected individuals as required by the Executive Regulation. Access to customer, booking, CRM, and marketing databases is restricted to authorised personnel and service providers who require access for legitimate business purposes and are subject to appropriate confidentiality and security obligations.

12. Your Rights Under the PDPL

Subject to the exceptions set out in the PDPL, you have the right to:

Where another lawful basis is permitted, we may rely on that basis in accordance with applicable law. We may retain relevant contact details, booking history, preferences, enquiry history, and marketing preferences in our CRM and customer databases for customer relationship management and, where permitted by applicable law, future marketing activities. You may opt out of marketing at any time by using the unsubscribe mechanism in our communications, replying “STOP” where supported, or contacting us at info@goyacht.com. Opting out of marketing will not affect communications that are necessary to administer an existing or prospective booking, contract, payment, safety matter, legal obligation, or other non-marketing purpose.

14. Children's Privacy

Our Services are intended for use by adults. Where children are included in a guest manifest, their personal data is provided and consented to by a parent or legal guardian and is used solely for booking, safety, and legal compliance purposes. We do not knowingly use children's personal data for direct marketing purposes.
